ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility statement

We want digital-art.ro to be usable by anyone, including with a keyboard, with a screen reader, or with the text enlarged. Below is exactly what we have checked, what we have not been able to check yet, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

The standard we work to

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard referenced by both EN 301 549 and the European accessibility legislation.

What we have checked

The checks run automatically on every build, across every page of the site. Last full run: 31 August 2026.

  • colour contrast (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large elements);
  • a visible focus indicator on every interactive element;
  • an accessible name for every button, link and form field;
  • a skip link past the navigation ("Skip to content");
  • touch targets of at least 24×24 px;
  • reflow at 320 px wide, with no horizontal scrolling;
  • text zoom to 200% with no loss of content;
  • text spacing (WCAG 1.4.12) with no overlap;
  • respect for the operating system’s "reduce motion" setting — the animations stop;
  • autocomplete attributes on fields carrying personal data;
  • a correct heading structure, a declared language, and alternative text on images.

What we have not checked yet

There are things an automated test cannot confirm. We state them openly:

  • Screen reader testing — NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver have not yet been worked through manually, page by page.
  • Browsers — the automated checks run on Chromium. Firefox and Safari have not been tested exhaustively.
  • Migrated content — text carried over from the previous site (2005–2017) keeps its original wording; some headings and descriptions are longer or less clear than we would write today.

Known limitations

  • The portfolio screenshots have descriptive alternative text, but the text inside the image is not available as real text.
  • The external sites we link to (client projects, the 2005–2017 archive) are not under our control and may have accessibility problems of their own.

The legal position

Romanian Law no. 232/2022 transposes the European Accessibility Act. Whether it applies to Digital Dreams SRL is determined by the microenterprise criteria the law sets out. Whatever the answer, the standard above remains the one we work to.

How to report a problem

If you meet a barrier on this site — a page you cannot work through with a keyboard, text your screen reader does not announce, contrast that is too weak — write to us at office@digital-art.ro or call 0722 810.870. Tell us the page and what you were trying to do. We will reply and, if the problem is ours, we will fix it.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Romanian National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (ANPDPD), anpd.gov.ro(opens in a new tab).

Date of this statement

Prepared on the basis of an internal evaluation (self-assessment), 31 August 2026. We update this page whenever the results of the checks change.
