Museums Meet Museums — an international museum seminar
Web Design & Online Stores
A website for "Museums Meet Museums", the international museum seminar of the Romanian National Museums Network, which brings curators and experts from the world’s iconic museums to Bucharest. The site preserves every edition with its programme, speakers, presentations and resources, alongside the event’s hosts and the partners who support it.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Museums Meet Museums” began as an international museum seminar and, after five years, had become a distinct mark of the Romanian National Museums Network — the second, after Museum Night.
Each edition is organised around a theme of current relevance to Romanian museology, and brings curators, experts and theorists from the world’s iconic museums to Bucharest. The project starts from a simple observation: in eastern Europe, gatherings of this kind are almost entirely absent.
The site is built as a living archive: every edition keeps its programme, its speakers, its presentations and its resources, alongside the host institutions and the partners who supported it. Someone who attended in 2021 can read back over what was discussed in 2017, and the organisers lose nothing in the move from one edition to the next.
