Museum Night — the national edition
Web Design & Online Stores
A website for Museum Night in Romania, an event run by the Romanian National Museums Network. The site gathers more than 330 participating museums across 39 counties into an interactive map of the country: the visitor picks a county, searches for a museum by name or town, and plans a route in advance. Every museum has its own page, with its opening times and the type of entry. It includes the archive of previous editions and the partners section.

Let’s talk about your project →ABOUT THE PROJECT
Museum Night is the European cultural programme coordinated in Romania by the National Museums Network. The 22nd edition involves more than 330 museums across 39 counties, in a single night, with entry mostly free.
The problem with an event like this is not promotion but orientation: how does someone find the right museum out of hundreds, in their own town, on that particular evening. The site answers with an interactive map of Romania — click the county, see how many museums are open there, filter by town or by type of entry. No account, no ticket, in three steps.
Every museum has its own page, with the opening times and details submitted by the institution itself through the official registration form. Added to that are the archive of previous editions, the partners section, and a content note explaining where the published text and images come from. The site is built statically, in Astro, so it holds up under the traffic peak on the night itself.
