PROJECT 183 / 184
Protecting the dolphins of the Black Sea
Web Design & Online Stores
Concerned by the dangers facing the dolphins of the Black Sea, the NGO Mare Nostrum runs a project aimed at securing the right conditions for dolphin populations to thrive along the Romanian coast. Dolphins and whales together form a group of mammals with the rank of an order: CETACEA. They are aquatic mammals, and all their distinctive characteristics — very different from those of other mammals — are owed to their life in water.
