A web application is software that runs in a browser, over the internet or across a local intranet. It can be used from a laptop, a tablet or a phone, with no complicated installation on each device.

We have developed bespoke modules for shops, MLM systems, applications for estate agencies, product management and intranet commerce. Access is possible from anywhere there is a connection, and sensitive information can be protected through permissions or restrictions by location or IP address.

Intranet applications

Intranet applications let departments in different offices communicate quickly and efficiently. A system on the intranet also allows information and documents to be exchanged centrally, independent of the machine the application is accessed from — because all the data in question sits on the server hosting the application. One of the many advantages of an intranet system is that it allows differentiated or preferential access to particular resources and information, with permissions set per group.

The languages we work in

We develop web applications mainly on the L.A.M.P. stack (Linux / Apache / PHP / MySQL). We chose this route because it lets us offer our clients a set of genuinely important advantages:

• no licensing costs for third-party software;
• lower server maintenance costs;
• lower cost and less time needed for later development work on the application;
• reasonably priced hardware requirements.

Our development team uses PHP, JavaScript, Java and others for building web applications, along with JavaScript frameworks and libraries including jQuery, mooTools, Ext JS, AngularJS, Google Web Toolkit and Node.js. Depending on the type of application, we will propose the option that fits best and carries the most sensible development cost.

We put ease of use first. An application only does its job when the interface is clear and people can fold it naturally into their day-to-day work.
